Lunch with Professor Patrick Hayden

On Wednesday April 10th 1PM - 2PM we joined Professor Patrick Hayden, a physicist and computer scientist active in quantum computing, along with other students for a free lunch and discussion.

Patrick started by sharing his opinions on quantum computing and introduced his research on quantum information theory and its roles in fundamental physics.

There were many questions from the participants, relating to all aspects of the quantum computing research industry, from the principles and experimental realizations of topological quantum computing, to the novel approach of silicon photonics all-purpose quantum logics. Patrick answered all the questions with clear and vivid explanations.

There were in total 11 participants. We also had a good lunch with food from Kali Greek Kitchen!
