Amy Brown was the presenter of the Quantum Programming Workshop. She received her bachelor's degree in computational physics from Harvey Mudd College in 2017 and has been working at Rigetti Computing since. She spent a year on the full-stack quantum engineering team before moving on to be a quantum solutions engineer heading up external researcher partnerships.

Attendees of the workshop learned how to code on a real quantum computer, and tried it out for themselves using Jupyter notebooks. The entire workshop was around 2 hours. After the workshop, attendees enjoyed dinner from Oren’s Hummus. Attendees sat around tables, discussing quantum computing and eating.
